Regulations of the Municipal Selective Waste Collection Point in Gmina Szydłowo
Below you will find the rules for using PSZOK and the conditions for accepting municipal waste from residents of Gmina Szydłowo.

General provisions
- PSZOK accepts municipal waste from owners of residential properties covered by the municipal waste management system in Gmina Szydłowo.
- Waste delivered to PSZOK must be collected selectively.
- PSZOK may be used by residents of Gmina Szydłowo for waste generated in their households.
- PSZOK is located at ul. Uniszki Cegielnia 32A.
Types of waste accepted
PSZOK accepts selectively collected municipal waste, in particular:
- paper
- plastics
- metals
- glass
- multi-material packaging
- bio-waste
- expired medicines and chemicals
- waste that does not qualify as medical waste, generated in households from the use of medicinal products by injection and blood glucose monitoring, in particular needles and syringes
- used batteries and accumulators
- waste electrical and electronic equipment
- furniture and other bulky waste
- construction and demolition waste constituting municipal waste
- used tyres
- textiles and clothing
Waste acceptance limits
PSZOK applies limits to selected types of waste.
- Construction and demolition waste constituting municipal waste: accepted up to 1 Mg per year per household.
- Used tyres: accepted up to 8 pieces per year per household.
Waste acceptance rules
- Waste must be delivered selectively.
- Mixed waste is not accepted at PSZOK.
- Waste should be prepared in a way that allows its identification and safe handover to the point's staff.
- Waste electrical and electronic equipment should be complete.
- Construction and demolition waste must be separated according to the required fractions.
- PSZOK staff have the right to verify the type, quantity and origin of waste delivered.
- Waste must be placed only in locations indicated by PSZOK staff.
Waste not accepted at PSZOK
- Mixed waste is not accepted at PSZOK.
- PSZOK does not accept waste from business, agricultural, service or industrial activities.
- Waste whose type, quantity or preparation indicates that it does not originate from a household will not be accepted.
- PSZOK staff may refuse waste that does not comply with the rules set out in the regulations.
Waste transport
- Transport of waste to PSZOK is arranged by the property owner at their own expense.
- Waste must be secured during transport to prevent spillage, leakage or any hazard to other persons.
Additional provisions
- Waste intended for PSZOK must not be handed over as part of mixed waste collection.
- Using PSZOK allows residents to safely dispose of waste that must not be placed in standard bins.
- Proper use of PSZOK supports selective waste collection, order across the municipality and the correct management of municipal waste.
