Modern waste management
Care for the environment, with tomorrow in mind
NOVAGO's overarching goal is the efficient and ecological management of growing waste volumes and the production of alternative energy from recovery. Waste delivered to our plants is treated as a valuable raw material that we subject to recovery, recycling and processing to fully exploit its material and energy potential in a modern circular economy.
Waste collection schedules
Quickly find your schedule: choose your municipality and check pickup dates and collection point information.
We give waste new value
We are Poland’s largest producer of alternative RDF fuel. This modern fuel is made from the combustible fraction of municipal waste and is used, among others, in the cement industry, where it can replace fossil fuels.
#1 in RDF production in Poland
What is RDF?
RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) is a fuel made from properly prepared waste that primarily contains plastics, paper, film and wood.
- made from a selected combustible waste fraction
- prepared through sorting and processing
- used, among others, in the cement industry
Benefits of RDF fuel
RDF can achieve a calorific value close to that of selected types of coal.
High calorific value
RDF provides a high energy value, which means it can effectively replace traditional fuels in selected industrial processes.
Less fossil fuels
Using RDF helps reduce the consumption of coal and other fossil fuels in facilities that can use alternative fuels.
Efficient use of waste
RDF is made from the combustible fraction of waste which, after sorting and processing, can be used for energy recovery.
Supports the circular economy
RDF production aligns with a modern approach to waste, aiming to maximise the recovery of its value.
Stable fuel parameters
Properly prepared RDF can achieve quality parameters required by industrial off-takers.
Less resource waste
RDF helps manage the part of waste that is no longer suitable for further material recycling.
We recover up to 60% of waste
that would otherwise end up in landfill.
